About the Garden

The Beeloved Community Garden was conceived to provide space for pollination of flowers by insects and of relationships by people.
The name is inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s vision of a world where love will transform, redeem, and bring people together in a new way.
Located just a block from NC State University, at 2506 Vanderbilt Avenue, the site is easily accessible to students and families who live in the neighborhood as well as those visiting campus or attending events at West Raleigh Presbyterian Church just across the street. Benches, tables, and paths make this an ideal place to sit and enjoy God’s creation and each other’s company.
